A compact description of my history and the company Aldorobotics.

Working history within Steelweld before Aldorobotics

I worked for 16 years at a company called Steelweld based at Breda in the Netherlands which in 1995 became part of the Dutch VDL group.
For the automation industry we have build assembly lines: Framing, under body, doors, hoods, bonnet and trunk lid for several car companies including:
Ford, Opel, Audi, Volvo, Jaguar, Vauxhall, Rover and more...
ABB, Fanuc, Comau, KUKA and Acma Robots have been programmed with all of the applications needed, Handling, Spot welding, MIG MAG welding, gluing and more...

With Steelweld I started in construction and followed a 2 year training programme and afterwards continued as a line assembler. I then followed with 18 months more training in the VBO sector. I completed a private training course for CNC milling which I finished within 6 months and have been working as a CNC miller for almost 3 years. Being a CNC miller I started Robot programming, now as an all rounder Industrial Robot programmer my first project ( Door line ) was for Ford Saarloi in Germany, I remember well my first Robot was a Niko (Handling) and ABB S2 ( Gluing ).

In 1997 I was promoted to Team Leader and trained a class of 12 men for the T3000 project, Opel Antwerp Belgium, Opel Bochum Germany and Vauxhall UK. Of course I continued programming as well being an all rounder and Team Leader.
In 1999 I started my own company and have successfully continued my skills in the automation Industry. Aldorobotics.
